 It is conference time!  

Students will be bringing home their report cards on Nov. 16th.  Parent Teacher conferences will be on be on the 19th -25th.   Don't forget that there is early dismissal at noon!

Collaboration Time/Late Start
Nearly every Wednesday during the 2009-10 school year, the school day will start one hour late. For elementary schools this means the start time on Wednesdays will be 10:00am. Collaboration time will focus on our school improvement work. Evergreen was given the VIOLENCE PREVENTION AWARD and recognized for making a significant improvement for the general community in reducing or preventing violence in Pierce County!  

Evergreen Elementary has been named the
Washington State Title I Distinguished School for 2008-2009.
We have been named for significantly closing the achievement gap in reading!

TITLE I IMPROVEMENT AWARD

Evergreen was selected based upon our students performance on the WASL.  We also made Adequate Yearly Performance for three years and showed improvement overall!
